Women's World Cup: USA Title Odds & More Following Netherlands Draw

USA entered the Women's World Cup as two-time defending champions and as the 2023 tournament favorite, but they were dealt a roadblock in the form of a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands on Wednesday.

The result marked the first time the United States hadn't won a World Cup game since the 2015 World Cup, when they drew Sweden, 0-0, in the second game of the group stage – the same situation as this fixture.

USA are still at the top of Group E, ahead of the Netherlands on goal differential. However, the Netherlands will have their easiest game of the group stage against Vietnam next, while the United States will face Portugal.
