Our first inning bets went 1-1 yesterday which snapped our 12-0 run, but still, 13-1 in our last 14 isn’t anything to complain about! Meanwhile, we saw the Mariners earn a couple of victories over the Nationals in a doubleheader while the Angels thumped the Astros in the nightcap.

We have a solid slate of 13 games on today, with the action kicking off at 12:10 pm ET when the Pirates take on the Marlins. The Dodgers and Cardinals continue their series while we can look forward to Astros vs Angels at 8:10 pm ET on ESPN+ and Brewers vs Giants on MLB Network at 9:45 pm ET. MLB: New York Mets ML over Chicago Cubs
Keegan Thompson has been the best option on the mound for the Cubs this season, but even he hasn't provided the most confidence recently. The team has lost each of his last 3 starts, which includes one against a weaker Reds team. Thompson has also been unable to pitch as deep into games recently as he once had been. That's where the biggest issue comes in for the Cubs. They have the 6th-worst bullpen in the league, and it's been as bad as the 2nd-worst over the last couple of weeks.
