Jacob deGrom is still very good at baseball. The Mets’ ace threw 6.0 innings and allowed just 3 hits while recording 9 strikeouts en route to the Mets’ 3-1 win over the Rockies, covering our best bet of Mets -1.5. Another notable game in the MLB was a 10-inning slugfest between the Blue Jays and Red Sox that ended with a 6-5 win for Toronto, who completed the sweep over Boston.
Today’s Slate
A full MLB slate returns
After a small slate on Thursday night, the MLB is back with a 15-game slate on Friday. There will be no day baseball, so the first game will be at 6:40 pm ET as the Dodgers will take on the Marlins in Miami.
