The Wisconsin Badgers were not ranked to start the season, but they have opened everyone's eyes in their recent win streak. The Badgers have won six straight, and were listed as underdogs in three of those six games. The Badgers scored upset wins over Virginia, Marquette and Michigan State over that span, and now must take a long road trip to play the number one team in the country. In their last game, Wisconsin was led by guard AJ Storr with 22 points in the upset win in Michigan State.

Storr is the leading scorer for Wisconsin and has been a welcomed addition as the 6'7 sophomore transferred in from St. John's last season. Storr is a 6'7 wing scoring 14.2 PPG and has scored 11 or more in the past four games including his 22 against Michigan State. Big man Steven Crowl is next up in scoring, the 7-footer averages 12.2 PPG and a team-high 7.7 RPG. Crowl has the ability to shoot from deep as he hit four threes in the game against Michigan State. Tyler Wahl is another forward with good size, he is 6'9 and adds 10.6 PPG and 5.9 RPG, he plays more around the rim and has not made a three all season. Junior guard Chucky Hepburn runs the team from the point position, he adds 10.1 PPG and a team high 3.7 APG.

Wisconsin ranks 12th overall according to KenPom. Their offense ranks 14th in the nation in efficiency and their defense ranks 22nd. Wisconsin plays at one of the slowest paces in the nation, they rank 343rd in pace of play out of the 362 Division I teams.
