Wisconsin-Green Bay vs Wright State Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/28/23

The Green Bay Phoenix and Wright State Raiders face off on Tuesday in a college basketball showdown in the Horizon League Tournament at the Nutter Center. 

Green Bay comes into this game with a 3-28 record overall and they have gone 9-22 against the spread. It has been a disappointing season, and they are coming off another loss in the last game. In the last game against Fort Wayne, Green Bay scored only 61 points and the defense gave up 78 points. Green Bay is averaging 59.4 points while their defense is giving up 76.5 points per game. The defense has been an issue, but even worse has been the offense that hasn’t given them much of a chance to secure the wins. Forward Cade Meyer is averaging 10.5 points while shooting 57.3 percent from the field. 

On the other side of this matchup is Wright State who sits with a 17-14 record overall and they have gone 16-13 against the spread. In the last game against Detroit Mercy, Wright State scored 82 points and that led to the 11 point victory. Wright State is averaging 80.3 points while their defense is giving up 73.8 points per game. Wright State wants to push the pace, but their defense has been an issue at times, and it’s going to need to be better in this game. Trey Calvin is averaging 20.3 points while shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from the field.
