The Jets are off to a promising start with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.10 goals per game. Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele have scored 10 goals and eight assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Cole Perfetti, Alex Iaffalo, and Mason Appleton have combined for eight goals and 12 assists while defensemen Josh Morrissey and Dylan DeMelo have added two goals and 10 assists from the point to help open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.50 with 12 goals in the last three games. Additionally, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has struggled with a .891 save percentage and a 3.09 goals-against average on 230 shots with -3.5 goal s saved above average.
