Wichita State is about to play the strongest team they will face all season. Ideally, they would like to be coming in with some momentum, but the team has lost three of their last four games. The Shockers dropped two games to power conference teams against Missouri and Kansas State, but also took a bad loss to South Dakota State as 4-point favorites. Their lone win in the stretch was a home win over Southern Illinois, where they just snuck by with a one-point win. In their last game, they were led by big man Quincy Ballard with 13 points and seven rebounds in the loss to Kansas State.
Wichita is led in scoring by 6'4 junior guard Colby Rogers with 16.8 PPG. He is also the top shooter on the team with 35 made threes on 42.2% shooting from deep. Rogers has reached double figures in each of his last five games, with a high of 21 in the loss against South Dakota State.
