The Wichita State Shockers and the UCF Knights will face off in AAC action from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando on ESPN+.
Wichita State jumped to 7-5 after taking down Texas Southern. The Shockers closed non-conference play on a good note after beating the Tigers by nine points at home. Wichita is scoring 66.1 points per game, while allowing 60.3 ppg, and shooting 42.7% from the floor.
Wichita State carries a hard-nosed, scrappy squad into AAC play. Craig Porter Jr. has taken on a lead role here in year three, reaching double figures in ten of the first twelve games, and pacing WSU in scoring (12.8) and assists (3.9), while grabbing 6.1 rpg. UGA transfer Jaykwon Walton double-doubled against Mizzou and San Francisco, and he leads the team in rebounding (6.6), while scoring 12.5 ppg. Former USM guard has picked things up this month, scoring a game-high 20 points in the win over Longwood, and averaging 12.8 ppg over his last five games.
