Georgia's semifinal win over the Buckeyes wasn't pretty, but the Bulldogs persevered and managed to escape the Peach Bowl with a 42-41 victory. The game was the first in which the Bulldogs had given up more than 40 points since they lost the 2021 SEC Championship Game to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Despite the narrow escape, the Bulldogs are huge favorites over TCU in the national championship game. However, what was once a 14-point spread is now as low as 13 at some of the major sportsbooks.
