UCLA men's basketball won its last national championship in 1995, when Jim Harrick led the Bruins to a near-perfect season that ended with a national championship.
It remains UCLA's only NCAA men's basketball championship since the John Wooden era.
Wooden, nicknamed the Wizard of Westwood, famously won 10 championships in 12 years from 1964-1975. The dynastic period included a record 88-game winning streak.
Mick Cronin, who became head coach at UCLA in 2019, led the Bruins to a Final Four in 2021 and a Sweet 16 in 2022.
