The NFL's legal tampering period for the 2023 season began today, March 13, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Teams can now legally negotiate with upcoming free agents.
NFL free agency begins on Wednesday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m. ET. Free agency marks the official beginning of the 2023 NFL season.
However, in anticipation of that period, teams and representatives can begin negotiating with pending free agency right now, in the 52-hour period immediately prior to the official start of free agency.
Several pending deals have already been announced.
