The Hilltoppers enter the matchup after winning 73-0 over the Florida International Panthers in their last game on September 24. Last time out, the Trojans won 16-7 over the Marshall Thundering Herd. LT Sanders totaled 73 rushing yards on four carries (18.3 yards per carry), scoring one touchdown on the ground. Malachi Corley led the receiving charge against the Panthers, catching three passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Gunnar Watson put up 321 passing yards while going 15-for-25 with no touchdowns and one interception for the Trojans against the Thundering Herd. DK Billingsley put together a 14-carry, 85-yard game (6.1 yards per attempt). Tez Johnson caught two passes for 121 yards (60.5 yards per catch).

The Trojans are 6-point underdogs against the Hilltoppers (the game has a total of 57.5 points).
