We have a Conference USA NCAA Men’s Basketball game on Thursday night between the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The Hilltoppers are doing well as they are 11-7 (3-4) this season and are coming off a 76-62 home loss on Monday against the FAU Owls. The Bulldogs are 10-8 (3-4) and are riding a two-game losing streak after an 81-74 Saturday home loss against the UAB Blazers.
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have been doing well offensively this season as they are averaging 73.5 points while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor. They have been passing the ball pretty well this season with 14.4 assists per game up to this point. Junior guard Dayvion McKnight has led the way for the team as he is averaging 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.9 steals, and 3.5 turnovers in 32.7 minutes per game.
Their defense has been doing well as they are allowing teams to score 68 points per game against them. They are doing pretty well swiping the ball away as they are averaging 6.3 steals and 5.9 blocks. If they can show some improvements on this side of the floor, it will be even better for them.
