Drew Hutchison moved into the Detroit rotation two months ago and has produced mixed results since. A 4.28 ERA is fine, but a 4.95 xFIP indicates some negative regression. His BABIP is low (.277), and he’s still walking far too many batters (3.38 BB/9).
