Weber State at Montana State Prediction – Basketball Picks 3/7/23

The Montana State Bobcats and the Weber State Wildcats will meet in Boise to battle in the semifinals of the Big Sky Championship at the Idaho Central Arena on ESPN2. 

Weber State moved to 18-14 after beating Sacramento State in the quarterfinals. The Wildcats jumped out to a big lead at the break, and they held on to defeat the Hornets by six, 70-64. Weber is scoring 67.5 points per game, while allowing 66.5 ppg, and shooting 45.2% from the floor.

Weber State has won seven of ten games, and they’ll look to upset Montana State here. Dillion Jones has been one of the best players in the Big Sky down the stretch. The sophomore forward has double-doubled in seven of the last ten games, and scored 21 points or more in four of the last five to bring his team-leads to 16.6 ppg, 11.0 rpg, and 3.8 apg. Junior guard Steven Verplancken Jr. Scored a game-high 26 points in the win over NAU, and he’s second on the team at 13.1 ppg.
