The Weber State Wildcats and Colorado State Rams face off on Monday in a college basketball showdown at Moby Arena. When these two teams faced off in 2013 it was Colorado State that secured the 88-67 victory.
Weber State comes into this game with a 1-1 record with the victory coming in the last game. In the first game Weber State was knocked off by Washington. The offense only managed 52 points, and that led to the defeat. In the last game against Western State, the offense scored 83 points, and that was enough to win by 16 points. Weber State scored 50 points in the first half and they never looked back. Forward Dillon Jones had a big game finishing with 21 points and 12 rebounds. In this game, Weber State is going to need the offense to be good, or it’s going to be a long game.
On the other side of this matchup is Colorado State who have opened up their season with back-to-back wins. In the first game they beat Gardner-Webb 65-63, and in the last game they beat Southeastern Louisiana 80-69. The offense looked better in the last game, and they need the offense to continue their success. It was mostly a balanced attack for the Rams with six different players scoring at least 10 points. Patrick Cartier led the way finishing with 17 points and seven rebounds.
