Team USA takes a day off but WBC play continues in Pools C and D on Tuesday. Read on for our WBC best bets on March 14.
Venezuela and Nicaragua will kick Tuesday's action off in a battle between Pool D's only undefeated team and the only winless team. Things should pick up after that with Colombia looking to bounce back against Canada after a loss to Great Britain.
The night games provide us with Israel vs. Dominican Republic and Great Britain vs. Mexico to close things out.

Tuesday's WBC top picks
Nicaragua has scored just one run in each of its first three contests while allowing nine to Puerto Rico, three to Israel, and six to the Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, Venezuela has been on a roll with a 5-1 upset win against the DR and a 9-6 victory against Puerto Rico.
The total for this game is at 11.5, so the oddsmakers are expecting a lot of runs. Nicaragua has shown that its offense is lacking while Anthony Santander and Salvador Perez have led the way for Venezuela's powerful lin eup.
This could end up being close to a mercy rule game as Venezuela keeps the bats going against a weak Nicaragua team.
Alternatively, you could lay -134 on -6.5 (FanDuel), but I like -7.5 at -115 as the better play. There is some value here with DraftKings having -7.5 at -120.
Colombia opened the tournament with a big 5-4 win in extra innings against Mexico, but then lost 7-5 to Great Britain on Monday. Canada blew out GB 18-8 on Sunday before falling flat against the United States on Tuesday night.
This one should be anyone's game with both teams sitting at 1-1. Colombia starter Adrian Almedia is a 28-year-old with a bit more experience than Canada's 24-year-old Noah Skirrow.
I'm taking the underdog Colombia at +110. BetMGM has the highest odds on the board with DraftKings at +105.
The Dominican Republic came out of the gates slow and suffered a 5-1 loss to Venezuela in its opening game. However, it bounced back a bit with a 6-1 win against Nicaragua on Monday.
Israel was on the losing end of the first-ever perfect game in the World Baseball Classic on Monday night as Puerto Rico won 10-0 in eight innings.
The DR's offense hasn't fully come alive yet with only seven runs through two games. I expect that to change against Israel's 19-year-old Jacob Steinmetz, who had a 7.88 ERA across 24 innings in rookie ball last season.
Julio Rodriguez, Juan Soto, Rafael Devers, Manny Machado, and the rest of the stacked Dominican lineup should come alive for a blowout win against Israel.
