Chelsa Messinger and Michael Jenkins took a look at NFL futures and debate whether or not a bet for Geno Smith to win NFL MVP at +5000 is a smart bet to make. Jenkins thinks it's not the worst idea.

“Yeah, why not?,” Jenkins said. “Sure. At the very least he's a great story. We always talk about how narratives sort of shape winners and losers and how things play out. But he's a great story. Ultimately, I don't know if it's a possibility if he can keep this up if you look at the totality of his career. But also this is the time of year, Chelsa, where teams sort of are who they are, for the most part, there's always exceptions. So are players. And I don't know, if you keep fading Geno Smith, all he does is keep winning. I can't believe the Seahawks right now have a half-game lead in the NFC West. That's just absolutely insane to me and it's because of Geno Smith. So he's performing and also it's a great story … So, yeah, why not?”
