Washington (10-7 SU, 8-8-1 ATS) takes on Miami (7-11 SU, 5-13 ATS) on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving at 7:30pmET from FTX Arena in South Florida.
The Wizards have won six of their last seven games, while the Heat are struggling, falling in four straight games.
These teams met on Nov. 18 from Washington with the Wiz edging Miami in overtime, 1o7-106.
The Wiz are 0-3 ATS in their last three at home against Miami, Charlotte (106-102) and Oklahoma City (121-120 loss). They played the Heat without Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro and Charlotte without LaMelo Ball. Washington tends to play up or down to their opponents.
In their win over the Hornets on Sunday, the Wiz started out hot and then allowed Charlotte to take a 79-77 lead in the third quarter. Charlotte was able to keep it close because center Kristaps Porzingis had his worst game of the season, shooting 4-of-19 for 12 points with four turnovers, but did have five blocks and eight boards. Kyle Kuzma led the way for Washington with 28 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Brad Beal added 26 points, five assists and five steals.

On the season, the Wiz are pretty good defensively, ranking 8th in points allowed per game (109.4) and third in field goal percentage defense (33.6%). Their biggest issue is defending the three-point shot (36.8%, 23rd), which has been an issue for years. On offense, they rank 16th in field goal percentage (46.7%) and 17th in three-point shooting (35.2%).
Washington is dealing with several injuries right now with Beal (quad), point guard Monte Morris (ankle) and forward Rui Hachimura (ankle) all listed as questionable. Beal (22.7ppg, 38.3% 3pg, 5.8apg) was injured in the final minute against the Hornets and missed practice on Tuesday.
