The Washington Wizards will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday at Spectrum Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.

Washington (2-11 SU, 5-8 ATS, 9-4 O/U) fell 142-129 to Milwaukee in its last game, its sixth straight defeat. Charlotte (4-9 SU, 6-7 ATS, 9-4 O/U) beat Boston 121-118 on Monday, snapping a four-game losing streak.

Charlotte surged late to pick up a seven-point victory over Washington on November 10, as the Wizards managed just 20 fourth-quarter points. Washington outshot Charlotte from the field, three-point range, and at the foul line, but was dominated on the glass (67-36), surrendering 28 offensive rebounds. The Hornets used those extra opportunities to their advantage, outscoring the Wiz 74-54 in the paint.

The Wizards defeated the Hornets two days earlier 132-116 in Washington. They shot 48 percent fro m the field, including 18-for-43 (42%) from three, to overcome a hot shooting night from Charlotte (52%).

Wizards: PG Delon Wright (knee) is out.

Hornets: PG Frank Ntilikina (leg), SF Cody Martin (knee), SG James Bouknight (knee), and PG Terry Rozier (groin) are out. C Nick Richards (concussion) is questionable.

The Wizards shot 55.6 percent from the field on Monday, but it still wasn't enough to take down the mighty Bucks. Milwaukee shot 58.5 percent and dominated on the glass, outrebounding Washington 55-26 with 16 offensive rebounds. The Wiz scored 84 points in the paint and only committed four turnovers, but couldn't slow down the “Greek Freak” (42 points on 20-of-23 shooting).

Washington is paced by SF Kyle Kuzma, who is averaging 23.4 points and 5.7 rebounds with a 47.6 field goal percentage. He is flanked by SG Jordan Poole (16.6 PPG) and SF Deni Avdija (12.7 PPG and 5.5 RPG). The Wizards have eight players scoring at least eight points per game this season.

Washington averages 115.2 points per game (10th) and shoots 48.3 percent (9th), including 35.1 percent from three-point range (20th). It shoots 76.5 percent at the free-throw line (18th) and averages 37.9 rebounds per game (30th). The Wizards' opponents score 124.4 points per game (30th) and hit 50.3 percent of their field goal attempts (30th), including 35.8 percent of their three-pointers (16th).

Washington is 26th in schedule-adjusted offensive rating, 27th in adjusted defensive rating, and 2nd in pace of play, per Dunks and Threes.
