Washington (28-32 SU, 28-29-3 ATS) travels to Atlanta (31-30 SU, 27-34 ATS) to take on the Hawks on Tuesday night at 7:30pmET from State Farm Arena.
These teams have not played this season. Last year, Atlanta won three of four games.
In terms of the playoff picture, Atlanta is sitting at eighth place in the East, 2.5 games ahead of Washington, who is a 1/2 games up on 11th place Chicago.
This comes up every season for the Wizards. This year is a bit different, because they owe their first-round pick to the New York Knicks. Washington has lost two straight coming off the All-Star break and in Sunday's 102-82 loss at Chicago, F Kristaps Porzingis sat due to a knee injury. He and starting guard Montre Morris (back) are listed as questionable for this game. They certainly missed both players against Chicago when the Wiz shot just 42% from the field, 12-of-23 from the free throw line and 21% (6-of-28) from long range. Brad Beal led the Wiz with 18 points, but forward Kyle Kuzman struggled by going 4-of-18 for 10 points and was just 1-of-8 from long range.
The Wizards are averaging 113 points per game (20th), 48.4% shooting (7th) and 35.9% from beyond the arc (17th). Defensively, they are allowing 113.2 points (15th), 46.5% shooting (5th) and 35.7% (13th) from beyond the arc. Porzingis leads the team with 22.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
