The Washington Wizards invade the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
The Washington Wizards will be hoping to stay undefeated after sneaking past the Bulls in a 102-100 home win on Friday. Kyle Kuzma led the team with 26 points, Bradley Beal added 19 points with eight assists on nine of 14 shooting while Kristaps Porzingis chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Wizards shot 51 percent from the field and 10 of 26 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Bulls in a tight contest until Beal drained the leaning bank shot with just 7.4 seconds remaining to snatch the game from the Bulls.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be eager to stay hot after last night’s dominant 128-96 road win at Chicago. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 32 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, Evan Mobley added 16 points while Caris LeVert tallied 14 points with eight assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 16 of 27 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 70 points in the first half to lead by 16 points at halftime, before they finished with a flurry in the fourth quarter to make it a blowout.
