The Washington State Cougars (4-3) and the Utah Utes (5-2) play on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Martin Stadium in a battle of Pac-12 foes.

The Cougars squared off against the Oregon State Beavers in their last game, losing 24-10. The Utes are coming off of a victory over the USC Trojans by the score of 43-42. In that matchup with the Beavers, Cameron Ward had 345 yards on 25-of-54 passing (46.3%) for the Cougs, with one touchdown and one interception. Jaylen Jenkins totaled 42 rushing yards on six carries (7.0 yards per carry). He also had four catches for 30 yards and one touchdown. Robert Ferrell had five receptions for 131 yards (26.2 per catch) against the Beavers. Cameron Rising went 29-for-43 with 415 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Utes against the Trojans. He also rushed 11 times for 60 yards and three touchdowns. Micah Bernard carried the ball 11 times for 37 yards (3.4 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added five catches for 57 yards. Dalton Kincaid caught 15 passes for 217 yards (14.5 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
