While some rivalries go back and forth, that hasn't been the case between these two Pac-12 rivals. Washington State has won eight straight games against Oregon State and hasn't lost to the Beavers on the road since 2012.
Unfortunately for Beavers fans, I predict that the Cougars will continue that streak on Saturday. For starters, Washington State has the better defense out of the two teams. The Cougars own a top-30 scoring defense this season, whereas the Beavers are tied for the 61st-best unit.
Another thing that Washington State has going for itself is a win over a ranked school (Wisconsin) earlier this season. Meanwhile, Oregon State is 0-2 against top-25 programs this fall, getting outscored 59-30 in those outings.
That's not even to mention the fact that Beavers QB Chance Nolan has thrown eight interceptions this season. Throw in the fact that Oregon State averages 3.5 turnovers per game at home and that's another reason not to trust the Beavers.
