Washington State vs. Arizona Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-19-2022

The Arizona Wildcats play host to the Washington State Cougars on Saturday afternoon in an interesting PAC12 showdown. Both teams might find themselves in the bottom half of the conference standings, though that doesn’t mean there isn’t quality abound in both sides. Both groups are coming off of wins and with momentum growing, this is bound to be one of the most exciting games out there this weekend. Adding in some familiar faces squaring off on different sides now, there’s little doubt this one will be filled with emotion.

Washington State hits the road in this one as they look to extend their two-game winning streak. They've found ways to grab wins against teams near the bottom of the PAC12 but this weekend is bound to test that. Arizona has been dangerous and with two of Washington State's three PAC12 wins coming at home, it'll be interesting to see how they handle life on the road. Having yet to get blown out yet this season though, there's no doubt that this group should be able to make things competitive on Saturday. With a game against Washington in the finale looming, getting a three-game winning streak heading into that game could be crucial.

Known for their passing attack, the Cougars have three players at wide reciever who are on the current injury report. The good news is that Renard bell (arm), the team's fourth-leading reciever, should be good to go for this one. On the defensive end, Jordan Lee (undiscl osed) is questionable, which could thin out this secondary.

Over the years, the eyes have always been on the offense for Washington State, though in this one, defense will be relied upon to lead the way. The Cougars come in with the nation's 44th-rankd total defense and have been strong, especially against the run. All eyes on this one will be in the secondary though, where Washington State has struggled at times to slow down their opponents. Daiyan Henley (92 tackles, 4 sacks) has been elite, though it'll be on Jaden Hicks and Armani Marsh to set the tone in the secondary.
