The Washington State Cougars (6-4) take on a fellow Pac-12 foe when they visit the Arizona Wildcats (4-6) on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Arizona Stadium.
In their last outing, the Cougars defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils 28-18. The Wildcats’ last game was a 34-28 win over the UCLA Bruins. Cameron Ward threw for 219 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions on 22-of-37 passing (59.5%) for the Cougs in that matchup against the Sun Devils. Nakia Watson totaled 116 rushing yards on 20 carries (5.8 yards per carry), scoring three touchdowns on the ground. He also had two catches for 42 yards. De’Zhaun Stribling led the receiving charge against the Sun Devils, catching five passes for 64 yards. Jayden de Laura’s showing for the Cats against the Bruins included 22-of-28 passing for 315 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed nine times for -3 yards and one touchdown. Michael Wiley carried the ball 21 times for 97 yards (4.6 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added six catches for 46 yards and one touchdown. Jacob Cowing caught nine passes for 118 yards (13.1 yards per c atch).
The Wildcats are 4-point underdogs in their matchup with the Cougars (the game has an over/under of 63 points).
