The Commanders beat the Houston Texans 23-10 in their most recent outing. The Falcons are coming off of a victory over the Chicago Bears by the score of 27-24. In that matchup with the Texans, Taylor Heinicke had 191 yards on 15-of-27 passing (55.6%) for the Commanders, with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Antonio Gibson rushed for 72 yards on 18 carries (4.0 yards per carry), adding three receptions for 31 yards. Logan Thomas led the receiving charge against the Texans, catching five passes for 65 yards. Marcus Mariota went 13-for-20 with 131 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Dirty Birds against the Bears. He rushed 13 times for 25 yards and one touchdown. Tyler Allgeier carried the ball eight times for 55 yards. He caught one pass for nine yards. Kyle Pitts collected three catches for 43 yards (on five targets).
