Washington at Washington State – 2/11/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Washington Huskies will make the trip to Pullman to face the Washington State Cougars in Pac-12 play. Washington leads the all-time series, 107-60, but Wazzu has won four of the last six meetings.

Washington dropped to 13-12 after losing to USC in Los Angeles. The Huskies fought hard in the second half, but couldn’t take the lead from the Trojans and they’d fall by six points. Washington is scoring 69.7 points per game, while allowing 70.9 ppg, and shooting 43.3% from the field.

Washington has dropped their last three games to conference heavyweights, and the skid pretty much served as writing on the wall for their season. The Huskies are 5-9 in Pac-12 play with a 1-7 road record. UW has been a one-man show this season, and they’ve got as far as senior forward Keion Brooks Jr. has been able to take them. The UK transfer has scored 22 points or more in each of the last four games, and he leads the Huskies in scoring (18.3) and rebounding (7.1). Beyond Brooks the production has been scarce and inconsistent, and that’s kind of what’s hindered the Huskies thus far. Veteran guard Cole Bajema averages 9.9 ppg and 4.5 rpg.
