They lost by just three points at Florida State, rebounded by earning a convincing 87-72 home win against Clemson, and were two-point dogs in a 75-71 home loss to Miami on Saturday to dip to 2-3 in ACC play. The Hokies have covered the spread in just one of their five ACC games.

Lynn Kidd has connected on at least 50% in two of his last three games. The senior center scored 16 on Saturday and has recorded an average of 14.8 PPG and 7.1 RPG on the year. Hunter Catoor did not play on Saturday due to a head injury and is questionabl e for this one. The senior guard is a key player, issuing an average of 13.5 PPG.
