The Villanova Wildcats are on the road as they make the trip east to take on the Creighton Bluejays Saturday night. Villanova was beaten 73-64 on the road by #14 Marquette in their previous game, failing to cover the line as a six-point underdog Wednesday night. Creighton took down Georgetown 63-53 on the road in their previous game Wednesday night though they failed to cover as a 13-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Wildcats own a 17-6 edge between the teams and have taken the last two meetings. That includes a 54-48 win in the Big East Tournament title game on March 12, 2022.

The Wildcats led by five early in the second half and still held a 62-61 lead with 4:49 remaining before things fell apart. Villanova was outscored 12-2 the rest of the way to wind up with the loss. The Wildcats shot 47.7% from the field, including 11 of 27 from beyond the arc, but turned the ball over 19 times in the loss. Eric Dixon and Caleb Daniels each had 14 points to lead Villanova in the loss.
