VIDEO: Oklahoma Sooner Defender Makes Insane One-Handed Interception

The Oklahoma Sooners needed to turn the page quickly on that embarrassing Red River Showdown loss to the Texas Longhorns. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel's squad did just that in Week 7, upsetting the No. 19 Kansas Jayhawks in a shootout, 52-42. Gabriel tossed for 403 yards and 2 TDs but wasn't necessarily the highlight of the day.

That belongs to defensive back C.J. Coldon, who went up for an insane one-handed interception during the second quarter. Check out the video below.

Jayhawks QB Jason Bean rolled out for a comeback route, intending to get it over the second level of the defense. The throw seemed to have enough juice to get to his target Tanakas Scott, but Coldon stepped in for the dramatic play of the day.

He leaped with every inch of his frame and vertical leap, getting a full right hand on the nose of the football. Catching the ball clean would have been equally impressive, but Coldon instead tipped the ball up to himself. Falling completely flat on the ground, the senior DB scooped up his interception to h imself.

It was a thing of beauty.
