The Vegas Golden Knights (51-22-5-4, 43-39 PL, 35-41 O/U) meet with the Winnipeg Jets (46-33-2-1, 42-40 PL, 23-53 O/U) in game three of the Western Conference Quarterfinals Saturday night from the Canada Life Centre. Vegas went 3-0 against Winnipeg in the regular season. The Jets stunned the Golden Knights with a dominating 5-1 victory in game one and the Golden Knights rebounded with a 5-2 victory in game two. 

The Vegas Golden Knights enter this one with confidence. Game one came as a huge disappointment as they were heavy favorites in a stunning 5-1 home defeat. The defeat especially came as a surprise considering they won all three regular-season meetings. Vegas has enjoyed several long playoff runs in their six seasons in the NHL and have the potential and experience to go deep into the playoffs after winning the Pacific division ahead of the Oilers. 

Jack Eichel was productive against the Jets in the regular season, netting four points in two meetings. He was held pointless in game one and rebounded by scoring his first career playoff goal in game two. The 26-year-old center had a strong year, leading the squad with 66 points in the regular season. Chandler Stephenson had a breakout season, posting 65 points. The 28-year-old center had a four-point nigh t against the Jets in December and has earned two points in this series. Alex Pietrangelo is logging big minutes. The star defenseman was a minus-two in game one and logged 24 minutes of ice in game two, amassing two helpers. William Karlsson has three points in the series. 

The Golden Knights have Laurent Broissoit guarding the cage. The 30-year-old netminder allowed four goals in game one and saved 31 of 33 shots in game two. Broissoit missed a majority of the season due to injury and was outstanding in his limited action, recording a 2.17 GAA and a .927 save % in 10 games. Vegas is scoring an average of 3.3 goals, ranking them 14th, They are conceding an average of 2.7 goals, placing them 11th in the NHL.
