The Vegas Golden Knights face the Winnipeg Jets in a matchup of two of the best teams in the Western Conference. The Golden Knights have a 20-9-1 record and are in first place in the Pacific Division while the Jets have an 18-8-1 record and with seven wins in their last 10 games, are leading the Central Division. Both teams are looking to remain near the top of their divisions and the Western Conference and the upcoming game looks to be a great one.

The Golden Knights are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.20 goals per game. Jack Eichel and Chandler Stephenson have scored 19 goals and 33 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Jonathan Marchessault, Mark Stone, and Reilly Smith have combined for 34 goals and 28 assists while defensemen Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore have added seven goals and 36 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has led the way, allowing only 2.67 goals per game with only four goals in the last two games. Shea Theodore and Brayden McNabb have combined for 4.7 defensive point shares and 109 blocked shots while Alex Pietrangelo, Alec Martinez, and Zach Whitecloud have combined for 4.3 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Logan Thompson has been great in the net with a .917 save percentage and a 2.70 goals-against average on 647 shots.
