Jack Eichel scored two goals in the second and finished with a hat trick, giving him 26 goals this season. Alex Pietrangelo had four assists in the game and now has nine points over his last five contests. The Golden Knights are 15th in goals per game (3.24) and 14th on the power play (21.7%). Jiri Patera stopped 35 of 37 shots to get the victory. The goaltending situation for Vegas is a tricky one as Logan Thompson, Laurent Brossoit, Robin Lehner, and Adin Hill are all out for an extended period of time. Jonathan Quick was acquired and is 4-1-0 with a 2.98 GAA and a .904 save percentage in his five starts. Vegas is allowing 2.80 goals per game over their last 10 contests and are 10th in goals-against average at 2.77. They are 17th in penalty-killing at 79.5%.
