The Vegas Golden Knights face the Toronto Maple Leafs with both teams playing great in recent games. The Golden Knights have an 11-2 record and with a seven-game winning streak have the best record in the Pacific Division. The Maple Leafs have a 7-4-2 record and with a three-game winning streak have leaped to the top of the Atlantic Division. Both teams are looking to keep their winning streaks intact and the upcoming game should be a great one as result.

The Golden Knights are having a great season with their offense scoring 3.54 goals per game including 14 goals in the last three games. Jack Eichel has scored five goals and nine assists while Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith have added 11 goals and nine assists to the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also been great. Chandler Stephenson, Mark Stone, and William Karlsson have combined for 13 goals and 17 assists while defensemen Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore have added three goals and 16 assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has also been dominant, allowing only 2.08 goals per game including 14 goals in the last seven games. Shea Theodore and Nicolas Hague have combined for 2.5 defensive point shares and 39 blocked shots to lead the top two pairings but the rest of the unit has also played well with Brayden McN abb, Zach Whitecloud, and Alex Pietrangelo combining for 2.5 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit.
