The Vegas Golden Knights (21-7-4-1, 12-14 PL, 9-19 O/U) battle the Tampa Bay Lightning (15-13-3-5, 13-13 PL, 12-12-2 O/U) in an inter-conference showdown on Thursday evening. They beat the Senators by a 6-3 score on Saturday and were dealt an ugly 6-3 road loss by the Hurricanes on Tuesday. The squad is first in the Pacific, three points ahead of the Canucks.

Jack Eichel continues to produce, collecting five points in his last four games. The veteran center is having an outstanding season, registering 37 points. He issued one point in two meetings against the Lightning last season. Mark Stone is hot, recording nine points in his last five bouts. The veteran winger is having another productive year, posting 33 points but has a -1 rating on the season. William Karlsson has netted three goals this month. The 30-year-old center now has 29 points on the year.

The Golden Knights continue to give most of the starts to Logan Thompson. The 26-year-old netminder has not been as sharp recently but is having a great season, registering a 2.71 GAA and a .904 save % accompanied by a 10-5-3 record. Backup Adin Hill is injured and the squad called up Jiri Patera to be the backup for now.
