The Vegas Golden Knights face the New York Rangers with both teams looking to build off of strong seasons. The Golden Knights have a 29-17-3 record and are near the top of the Pacific Division while the Rangers have a 26-14-8 record and are near the top of the Metropolitan Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their respective conferences and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Golden Knights are having a great season with their offense carrying them and scoring 3.16 goals per game. Chandler Stephenson, Jack Eichel, and William Karlsson have scored 37 goals and 73 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also been great. Reilly Smith, Jonathan Marchessault, and Nicolas Roy have combined for 42 goals and 43 assists while defensemen Alex Pietrangelo and Brayden McNabb have added six goals and 39 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.88 goals per game. Brayden Mcnabb and Alec Martinez have combined for 5.5 defensive point shares and 257 blocked shots while Alex Pietrangelo and Nicolas Hague have combined for 4.0 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Logan Thompson has been great with a .912 save percentage and a 2.71 goals-ag ainst average on 1031 shots.
