The Vegas Golden Knights face the Edmonton Oilers in Game Six of the Second Round. The Golden Knights hung on for a Game Five win to take a 3-2 series lead and move one win away from the Western Conference Final. The Oilers struggled in the recent game and are one loss away from being eliminated. The Golden Knights look to win the series while the Oilers look to force a Game Seven and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Golden Knights have taken control of this series with their offense stepping up and scoring 17 goals including four in Game Five. Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev, and Jonathan Marchessault have scored eight goals and nine assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also been great. Mark Stone, Reilly Smith, and Nicolas Roy have combined for four goals and six assists while defenseman Zach Whitecloud has added a goal and two assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 17 goals in the series. Alec Martinez, Zach Whitecloud, and Shea Theodore have led the top two pairings but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing the Oilers to find open shots on the net at will. The bright spot has been the play of backup goaltender Adin Hill, who has saved 89 of the 96 shots filling in for Laurent Brossoit who has been i njured.
