With just one victory in their last four contests, the Vegas Golden Knights (1st in Pacific Division) will continue their current road trip with a visit to Detroit, where the local Red Wings (4th in Atlantic) remain following two domestic defeats.

A third defeat in their past four contests (1-3-0) turned out to be on the cards for the Vegas Golden Knights (17-7-1), who went 1-1-0 on their current four-date road trek following a 4-3 setback against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on Thursday. The Knights led 2-0 in the opening frame and 3-2 in the third before the hosts tallied two unanswered snipes in a span of just under two minutes midway through the last period. Jack Eichel (12 goals, 28 points this year), Reilly Smith (11 goals, 17 points) and Shea Theodore (4 goals, 18 points) all scored for Vegas, which recorded its first regulation defeat in its past 10 road matchups (8-1-1).
