The Vegas Golden Knights face the Carolina Hurricanes with both teams looking to build off of great seasons. The Golden Knights have a 39-20-6 record and are in first place in the Pacific Division. The Hurricanes have a 43-12-8 record and with four wins in a row are in first place in the Metropolitan Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their conferences and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Golden Knights are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.14 goals per game. Chandler Stephenson and Jack Eichel have scored 36 goals and 65 assists to lead the top line but the entire offense has stepped up. Reilly Smith, Jonathan Marchessault, and William Karlsson have combined for 52 goals and 75 assists while defensemen Shea Theodore and Alex Pietrangelo have added 16 goals and 56 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Golden Knights, allowing only 2.75 goals per game with only five goals in the last two games. Brayden McNabb and Alec Martinez have combined for 7.8 defensive point shares and 355 blocked shots while Shea Theodore, Alex Pietrangelo, and Nicolas Hague have combined for 9.0 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Logan Thompson has struggled with a  .914 save percentage and a 2.66 goals-against average on 1093 shots with 9.7 goals saved above average.
