Jonathan Marchessault (9 goals, 19 points) and Phil Kessel (5 goals, 11 points) scored in the second, while Reilly Smith (12 goals, 18 points) added an empty-netter with three minutes remaining on the clock. With that, the Golden Knights improved to an 11-2-1 record when playing away from home this season. They are 5-3-1 in their most recent nine outings overall.
Goalie Adin Hill turned aside 24 shots on Saturday to take his current performance status to 6-2-1 for the rolling year with a 2.55 GAA and a .908 save percentage. He has posted a 0-2-0 past record versus Boston with a 4.98 GA A and a .848 save percentage, while Logan Thompson (12-5-0 on the season with a 2.54 GAA and a .920 save percentage) has never faced the Bruins before. The Golden Knights, meanwhile, are scoring the 10th highest amount of goals per game during the current campaign (3.42), while allowing the 5th lowest quantity defensively (2.62). They are 16th in power play (23.0%) and 24th in penalty kill (74.2%).
