Vegas Golden Knights at San Jose Sharks – 10/25/22 NHL Picks and Prediction

The Vegas Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks face off on Tuesday in an NHL showdown at T-Mobile Arena. When these two teams faced off in April it was San Jose that was able to secure the 5-4 victory.

Vegas headed into Friday night’s game with a 4-2-0 record overall and on Saturday they were defeated by the Colorado Avalanche. The defense wasn’t awful giving up three goals, but the offense only scored two goals and that led to the defeat. Two games ago against the Winnipeg Jets they won 5-2. Vegas is averaging 3.17 goals per game while their defense is giving up 2.17 goals per game. The defense is ranked 3rd in the league. Jack Eichel has had a strong start to the season scoring three goals and adding four assists.

On the other side of this matchup is the Sharks who sit with a 2-6-0 record overall but they are coming off a victory in the last game. The defense was strong giving up zero goals to the Philadelphia Flyers, and that led to the victory. The Sharks are averaging 1.88 goals per game while their defense is giving up 2.88 goals per game. The offense is ranked 32nd in the league while their defense is ranked 12th. The defense actually hasn’t been awful, but they need to find a way to start scoring more goals. Erik Karlsson has scored three goals and added three assists this season.
