The Vegas Golden Knights and Montreal Canadiens face off on Saturday in an NHL showdown at the Centre Bell. The Golden Knights have won the last two games over the Canadiens. 

Vegas comes into this game with a 10-2-0 record overall and they are coming off another victory in the last game. Against the Ottawa Senators, Vegas scored five goals and that was enough to secure the one-point victory. Mark Stone had a nice game finishing with one hit and one assist. Vegas is averaging 3.33 goals per game while their defense is giving up 1.92 goals per game. The defense is the top in the NHL, and in this game, it’s going to need to be the defense that is good. Jack Eichel has lived up to the expectations this season and on the season he has scored five goals and added eight assists. 

On the other side of this matchup is Montreal who sits with a 5-5-1 record overall and they are coming off a loss in the last game. Montreal was able to force overtime, but they gave up the goal. Cole Caufield had a nice game finishing with two assists and four shots on goal. Nick Suzuki finished with one goal and one assist. Montreal is averaging 2.73 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.09 goals per game. Suzuki has scored six goals and added seven assists this season.
