VCU at Loyola-Chicago – 1/10/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The VCU Rams will travel and take on the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers in A-10 action from the Gentile Center on CBSSN.

VIrginia Commonwealth improved to 11-5 after beating Davidson at home. The Rams pounced on the Wildcats early, and cruised to a 17-point victory. VCU is scoring 70.7 points per game, while allowing 64.9, and shooting 44.8% from the field.

VCU has cleaned things up since beginning the season 5-4, and they’ve won six of their last seven games. The Rams are defending at a high level, and they’re led by third-year starter Adrian Baldwin Jr. The 6’1 guard went for a career-high 28 points in the win over Vanderbilt, and he leads the Rams in scoring (13.3) and assists (6.3). Brandon Johns Jr. scored 22 points against Duquesne, and he’s second on the team in both scoring (12.6) and rebounding (5.4).
