The Vanderbilt Commodores picked up their 20th win of the season on Friday night in an upset over third-seeded Kentucky to move one step closer to an NCAA Tournament berth. Vanderbilt closed the first half strong and took a 39-34 lead into the break. In the second half, the Commodores withstood a Kentucky charge and held on for the 80-73 win. The Commodores shot 49% from the field including 50% from 3pt range. Vanderbilt was led by Enzra Manjon’s 25 points.

In the Commodores' first and only matchup with A&M this season, they fell 72-66 to the Aggies on the road. Vanderbilt shot 40% from the field overall and was out-rebounded 37-31 in the loss. Vanderbilt’s bench played very well in the loss, outscoring Texas A&M’s bench 44-15. Myles Stute came off the bench to lead Vandy with 22 points, including 7-of-14 from 3pt range.
