Vancouver Canucks (3-2-0) vs. Nashville Predators (3-3-0)

All 32 NHL teams will take the ice on Tuesday night, and we are taking a closer look at the Western Conference showdown from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, to get you the best Canucks vs. Predators pick and odds.

Vancouver and Nashville open their three-game regular-season series, and the Predators aim for their third straight home victory over the Canucks. Nashville is a slight -108 moneyline favorite in front of the home audience, while the total sits at 6.5 goals.

The Vancouver Canucks started their 2023-24 campaign with a couple of impressive wins over the Edmonton Oilers. After an 8-1 dismantling of the Oilers at home, the Canucks started a five-game road trip with a 4-3 victory at Edmonton. Since then, Vancouver has recorded a pair of losses at the Philadelphia Flyers 2-0 and the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 to go with a 5-3 win at the Florida Panthers.

Last Saturday, the Canucks upset the Panthers as +130 road underdogs. Vancouver was outshot 36-31, but the Canucks went 2-for-3 with the man advantage while killing both of Florida’s power-play opportunities. Five different players found the back of the net for Vancouver including Elias Pettersson, who leads the way for Canucks with two goals and eight assists in 2023-24.&#xA 0;

Casey DeSmith patrolled the crease against the Panthers and yielded three goals on 36 shots, improving to 2-0-0 on the season. DeSmith holds a .938 save percentage, while Thatcher Demko, who’s projected to guard the cage Tuesday in Nashville, is 1-2-0 with a 2.57 GAA and a .930 save percentage. Demko is 2-2-1 with a 2.80 GAA and a .910 save percentage in five career appearances against the Predators.
