The Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens face off on Wednesday in an NHL showdown at the Centre Bell. The Canucks have won the last two games against the Canadiens.

In this game, if the defense struggles, they will be in trouble. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Canadiens who had a 5-6-1 record heading into Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings. Montreal has lost three games in a row and in the last game against the Vegas Golden Knights they gave up six goals. Montreal scored four goals in the game. Kirby Dach had three assists. Montreal is averaging 2.83 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.33 goals per game. Nick Suzuki has scored eight goals and seven assists. Cole Caufield has scored eight goals and added six assists.
