The Valparaiso Beacons (4-5, 0-2 MVC) pay a visit to Blacksburg, Virginia and Cassell Coliseum on Saturday to play the Virginia Tech Hokies (6-3, 1-0 ACC). Valparaiso was defeated by Central Michigan 71-67 on Wednesday night and the Beacons have lost three straight including each of their first two Missouri Valley Conference games. Virginia Tech defeated the Louisville Cardinals 75-68 last Saturday in their season opener of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Valparaiso will play without C Lual Manyang. Virginia Tech does not have any players listed on its injury report.
