The UTSA Roadrunners (2-2) hit the road for a C-USA clash against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (3-1) on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium.
The Roadrunners played the Texas Southern Tigers in their most recent outing, winning 52-24. The Blue Raiders’ most recent game ended in a 45-31 win over the Miami Hurricanes. Frank Harris threw for 392 yards, with four touchdowns and no interceptions on 20-of-31 passing (64.5%) for the Roadrunners in that matchup against the Tigers. He also added four carries for 31 yards and one rushing touchdown. Brenden Brady totaled 49 rushing yards on 14 carries (3.5 yards per carry). He added two catches for 15 yards. De’Corian Clark had nine receptions for 217 yards (24.1 per catch) and three touchdowns against the Tigers. Chase Cunningham’s showing for the Blue Raiders against the Hurricanes included 16-of-25 passing for 408 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He rushed nine times for 29 yards and one touchdown. Frank Peasant carried the ball 19 times for 74 yards and one touchdown. DJ England-Chisolm recorded two catches for 169 yards (on four targets), with t wo touchdowns.
The Blue Raiders are 5-point underdogs against the Roadrunners (the game has a total of 63.5 points).
