The UTSA Roadrunners and Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders face off on Friday in a Week 5 college football showdown at Floyd Stadium.

The UTSA Roadrunners come into this game with a 2-2 record overall and last Saturday it was UTSA that secured the 52-24 victory. It was closer for most of the game, but in the 4th quarter, they pulled away scoring 17 points on the way to the victory. The Roadrunenrs are averaging 37 points while their defense is giving up 35 points per game. The offense is ranked 37th while their defense is ranked 113th. Under center for UTSA is Frank Harris and in the last game, he completed 21 of his 30 passes for 392 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Wide receiver De’Corian Clark also had a big game finishing with nine catches for 217 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, this team does have some issues, and they need to be better on that side of the ball.
On the other side of this matchup is Middle Tennessee who sits with a 3-1 record and they are coming off one of the bigger wins in program history in the last game. The Blue Raiders scored 45 points against the Miami Hurricanes, and that was enough to win by 14 points. Quarterback Chase Cunningham completed 16 of his 25 passes for 408 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. DJ Chisholm only caught two passes but it was for 169 yards and two touchdowns. The Blue Raiders are averaging 33.8 points while thier defense is giving up 25 points per game.
